The are many beavers in the pond, but Beaver Builder is probably my favorite plugin for WordPress.
In June 2015 I decided that I need a new website, like yesterday. But you see, the problem was that every quote I got was about to cost me thousands and take months, when all I’ve wanted was a simple WordPress website where I can post my thoughts and that will serve as a hub to everything Insightout Digital does online. So, I decided, as many digital marketers do, to build my website myself. That was not a wise decision. Many of us believe that being that being able to do many techy things translates to any digital endeavor. But I quickly realized that advising other people on how to implement psychology to get their landing pages to convert has nothing to do with actually building actual websites.
One night, I got my sparkly new domain, bought me some hosting, and proudly installed a StudioPress theme. And then nothing happened. I looked at my website and it sadly looked at me, and it was just plain ugly. I had no idea what to do.
Let me be clear, I love building stuff. If they’re not overly complicated, like building IKEA furniture. And I’m an advanced tech user, and can even insert the CSS code or a script in the correct location 90% of the time. But I don’t code, nor do I want to. And as a borderline millennial, I also don’t have the patience to wait for weeks and months to have a landing page.
What is Beaver Builder?

Beaver Builder is a WordPress page builder plugin that helps you build web pages visually by dragging and dropping elements like texts, images, icons, or videos. As well as easily embedding forms, widgets, and shortcodes.
Beaver Builder was released in 2014 and since then grown to become one of the most trusted and reliable page builders, known for its user-friendly interface and top-notch support.
WordPress known as the best content management system but positioning text and images with the WP editor has always been a pain for non-designers or developers so finally, we got a solution with Beaver Builder’s front end drag and drop visual editor that gives you total control over the layout of your pages.
Beaver Builder for WordPress
Beaver Builder is fully compatible with almost any WordPress theme and if for some reason you’re having trouble getting it to work with yours, their tech support is pretty awesome and have always been ready to solve any issue for me. That’s why more than 1,000,000 websites trust Beaver Builder with.
If you’re a WordPress user, finally get complete control of your website. Beaver Builder works with your existing website, building beautiful, professional pages.
If you’re a developer, you can extend and customize Beaver Builder through widgets or by using their custom module boilerplate. You can even limit your client’s abilities with editor mode, and prevent them from breaking their pages.
Beaver Builder In Action
Beaver Builder Plugin Vs Beaver Builder Theme
The Beaver Builder plugin is a page builder fully compatible with WordPress and can be used with any theme. It only controls the content front end, or the look of your pages so you can switch themes without losing your content. Unlike Divi or page building software (such as Clickfunnels or LeadPages), your content belongs to you and if you decide to stop using Beaver Builder, your content remains in the WordPress editor.
Currently, more than 1,000,000 websites use the Beaver Builder plugin.
However, if you want 100% flexibility and to be able to edit your entire website, including the appearance of the header, footer, and menus, you should consider the Beaver Builder WP framework theme. You can choose from many templates and preset designs and edit anything you want with WordPress customizer.
Currently, more than 175,000 websites opted for the Beaver Builder Theme.
Beaver Builder Templates

Templates make designing easy and save you time, even if you’re a total newbie. Choose a template, replace the images and text with yours, then hit publish. You can even save your own designs as templates and reuse them all over your site, or export them to use on a different site. All of templates are 100% mobile responsive.
The first thing we used Beaver builder were landing pages for our own digital campaigns. Let’s be honest, in the digital advertising world if you can’t come up and execute ideas in a matter of days, if not hours, you quickly become obsolete. Beaver Builder can help you build landing pages faster than ever.
Landing Page templates include several homepage templates as well as marketing campaigns templates, small business templates, digital agency templates, eBook templates, law firm templates, and many more.
But don’t stop there, Beaver Builder comes with an extensive collection of templates for content pages (inner pages) such as about us page, contact page, services page, our team page, newsletter signups, pricing pages, and many more.
You can design unique pages, rows, modules and layouts save them as templates and reuse unlimited number of times to quickly build new pages. You can turn any saved row or module into global and edit all instances with one click.

What is Beaver Themer?

Remember the days where you had to design each and every blog post or sweat over your blog page? These days are over with the Beaver Themer.
Beaver Themer is an add-on you can take a full control of your blog. You can create templates and layouts for archive pages, template an entire post type, 404 and search pages, and even create headers and footers. Field connections allow you to connect your layouts to the data inside each type of template.

3 Reasons I Love Beaver Builder
1. Beaver Builder is fast and SEO ready
Beaver Builder is built on Bootstrap, the most popular CSS Framework for developing responsive and mobile-first websites. Standards such as schema.org markup and code compression ensure your pages are easily found by search engines.
Thanks to zero bloat and it’s clean and straight forward code, even the most complex design and endless modules execute instantaneously. Since Beaver Builder utilizes the best web coding standards won’t exhaust your server resources as is the case with many other plugins of this nature.
2. Beaver Builder is 100% Mobile Responsive
It seems like ancient news today but in April 2015 Google released its Mobilegeddon update to prioritize mobile-friendly websites in search results. The more use their mobile devices to access your website, the less you can afford to struggle with device compatibility.
We all know how frustrating it is reaching a website that is not optimized properly for mobile. We are faced with confusing UX, shrunken text, the need to scroll from side to side, as well as an overall clunky feel, making the website unusable. To improve its user experience, Google not only ranks responsive websites higher but also developed a “mobile friendly” label to appear next to search results from mobile devices to ensure mobile searchers that the corresponding page is setup properly for their device. So even if you survive the drop in rankings your clicks and traffic will suffer.
3. Beaver Builder is Fully Customizable
Beaver Builder is built fully compatible with any WordPress theme. So, you don’t have to worry about plugin-theme conflicts. You don’t need a pre-packaged child theme, Beaver Builder will work with your custom designed themes and theme frameworks to help you create a 100% unique, one of a kind website.
Beaver Builder supports shortcodes and widgets so you can implement pretty much anything you want. We personally use it with ActiveCampaign, JotForm, Acuity, and many more. All you need is to grab the embed code and paste it in html module.
Beaver builder comes with pre-built homepage templates, and inner page layouts such as contact, portfolio, about us and services pages. You can use a single layout or replace it with any of the templates with a single click. You can even append a template, two or more depending on your needs and preferences.
If your website is multi-lingual, Beaver Builder is fully compatible with the WMPL plugin, which means that your website will be readily available to your international audience in different languages as long as you’re running the WMPL translator.
Beaver Builder for Woocommerce
Beaver Builder is fully compatible with WooCommerce and allows you to easily build your store drag and drop style. All you need is to activate the Woocommerce plugin and all the ecommerce capabilities become available to you in the standard Beaver Builder plugin trough WooCommerce module. You can easily design product pages, collection pages, add to cart, checkout, and so much more. You can also install the full eCommerce theme.
For full dodumentation and how to implement, please read the WooCommerce module overview.
Beaver Builder Pricing

At first glance $99 for the Standard license might feel steep, but it’s only $8.25 per month, which is like 2 large lattes. If you already have a WordPress theme installed, that is probably the right choice. I’ve always used the Standard option and feel that it’s enough for my website needs. Annual licenses automatically renew with 40% discount, making you monthly cost $4.95.
If you would like to use the Beaver Builder theme or have multiple websites you’d like to manage in one lace, you should consider the Beaver Builder Pro. And if you develop and design websites for clients, you should consider the Beaver Builder Agency.
All license options can be used on unlimited number of websites. However, the true multi-site management capability is only available in Beaver Builder Pro.
Beaver Builder offers a 30 days refund policy, all you have to do is ask.
Beaver Builder Discount
Your subscription will renew with a 40% discount automatically applied. If you opt out of the automatic renewal, you can still access the discount for two weeks after your license expires.
Sometimes, Beaver Builder offers discounts and coupons, like the Black Friday special they had in November 2019. Please check back here and I’ll make sure to post coupons if and when they become available.
